The Raimundo Irineu Serra Environmental Development Institute is a local development agency that carries out and supports sustainability actions and regenerative practices in its territory, Vila Céu do Mapiá and communities in the region, located within or around the Purus National Forest - a Brazilian Amazon Conservation Unit.
The viability of our action is focused on mobilizing resources as an institutional development strategy, combining the creation and implementation of sustainable projects with the practice of transparency in financial management and organizational communication.
We consider sustainable projects to be those that are socially fair, environmentally correct, economically viable and culturally responsible.

PROJECTS
Community Sustainability Assessment
The Community Sustainability Assessment is a priority project, chosen by the new board of IDARIS as the zero point to guide the creation and execution of projects from 2020 onwards. GEN), a current map of sustainability in Vila Céu do Mapiá.
Strengthening the Solidarity Economy
The Solidarity Economy Strengthening Network is an initiative that seeks to support the original dream of Ecovila Céu do Mapiá by encouraging local consumption and production, thus enhancing a prosperous and solidary economy for everyone.
Local Management of the AmaGaia Program
The AmaGaia Program offers, through a technical team composed of several professionals and institutions, assistance for the creation and management of local projects and promotion of transversal strategic projects, to strengthen Vila Céu do Mapiá as a spiritualist and ecological community.
